My new job hired me because they claimed to desperately need people, to the point of also advertising willing to hire 15 year olds. I’m 20, and now i’m on my second week with zero hours scheduled. What the fuck happened to the “We really need people” claim? The issue is I now likely can’t get any other benefits since I’m “employed” but just not given hours. And on top of that, I only make 11 an hour as is.
How the hell is one supposed to pay rent when they have zero hours??
