Fired for not being happy and then they tried to gaslight me into thinking this was a good thing

Worked as a manager for this company for 8 months and busted my ass for them. Rebuilt the operations structure, would work 12 hour days on my 6th workday without compensation, covered for no call no shows, consistently worked in 115° weather with no AC doing physical labor and was let go yesterday for not being happy and not being a cultural fit. I did nothing but exceed expectations and metrics but was let go for not being there for the “greater good” as they said. Was never given a warning or talked to just immediately terminated even though when I had to cover shifts for no call no shows I was only told to give that employee a write up. Am I wrong for feeling like I was fired without any justifiable reason? Anyone else been fired for not being a “culture fit”?
