Article about the recent ruling in California got me thinking

So I read the article by Jessica Wildfire: https://open.substack.com/pub/jessicawildfire/p/how-you-do-anything-is-how-you-do?r=133×25&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post And was wondering how the court ruling might filter in. Like we know corporate, jobs, HR don’t care about the average worker…but now if we get an illness on the job that hurts us or someone else we have no recourse at all. So thinking of that recent plan flight with the inadequately cleaned up blood and feces…does this mean the flight attendants / clean up crew would not be helped if they catch something? What about drs or nurses (hospital/ dr office staff) if they get a communicable disease and die or someone in their family does…there is surely no help from the business/in the courts. Makes me wonder if Erin Brockovich took her case to court now would she have even won? Anyway just some thoughts, I would enjoy reading yours.
