Edit: This is not about me working these many jobs, I am talking about a DIGITAL MARKETING START UP i was hired in, whose founder doesn’t have businesses or people as clients, but is working in atleast 8 work from
jobs currently (as digital marketing associate or more) at the same time, and passing over that work to us (her employees under her Founded company) to complete.
I started working at a digital
marketing startup (started by two women) in November last year, at first i was very interested to know how are they getting these American clients, maybe I can do the same in the future, but then I realised my employer was working as an employee in at-least 6-7 different companies at one time and allocating that work to us, whenever i asked them, are they not our clients? are we working under them? they said we are providing a resource to all these clients (which is bullshit).
i quit last month because
- I was overworked- i was working 12-14 hrs day minimum and still was told i was not what I was in the start.
- I had to be available all the time, but my employees were not. They would call me at anytime during the day and expect me to answer or help, while they would even have the decency to call me back whenever i asked them to call.
- The whole atmosphere when i started was still chill, but soon turned so toxic, this entire thing triggered my anxiety, made me angry, and i had not work life balance.
I still do some part time work for them, which i might quit too, but I had never had a worst experience working somewhere.
Am i a bad person if i want to complain about them to the 7-8 jobs they are working under?
i know i wont, but i do feel the urge everyday, especially when they mistreat me even when i am doing a favour to them by working part time, i know all their secrets.
