Current job was always a toxic nightmare but I was left alone and just did my M-F and collected a paycheck. Well… Some people left unexpectedly, some emergencies go down and suddenly I'm shoved into an all over the place schedule and dealing with the unbelievably dysfunctional management.
I started applying like crazy, my mental and physical health is going to shit and boom, an immediate response. One of those AI hiring scheduler bots starts texting me to set up an interview and I pick a time. That day comes, take my lunch and wait for the call…. Nothing.
Ok, no worries. I email the interviewer politely hoping that all is well and would love to interview. Get an automated text “How was your interview?”…..
Long story short, get no human response so schedule another phone interview, also on my lunch and…. Nothing.
Ghosted twice, no response from the two personal emails and the only contract I have is with a broken scheduling chatbot. Gotta love working in 2022.
