Not fired. I guess. I had already put in my two weeks notice. But the shitty retail job I was working for cut all my hours the day before my last, out of nowhere. They didn’t even tell me. I got a notification from our scheduling app. When I asked them about it they dismissively said I had made a mistake today and that was the consequence.
I worked for these people for 5 months and they just toss me aside like garbage. On my fucking birthday no less. You can’t make this shit up. I don’t even get the chance to say goodbye to my coworkers.
