Treatment at work makes me feel inhuman

My workspace is a storage closet. It's freezing cold – 90°F outside right now and I have the space heater going. There are no windows. I have a “specialist” role so I'm extra isolated from my coworkers. There's mouse shit on the floor and raining from the ceiling tiles, people take breaks in here and leave crumbs all over my keyboard, and I am just so fucking depressed I can't stand it. Not to mention I asked for a raise since I have this special role and they said the best they can do is an extra $1/hr. It's a massive corporation raking in billions yearly. We're so understaffed that they put me on the front desk at least once a week – this week I've been on the front 3 times. I feel like I'm not even a person anymore. I'm so miserable here. We're so understaffed that they put me on the front desk at least once a week – this week I've been on the front 3 times.

I feel like I'm not even a person anymore. I'm so miserable here. I'm really good at my job and I like helping people, but working in these conditions is not what I signed up for. I could be paid equally if I went back to retail, and I know retail is its own form of hell but surely anything would feel better than this.

I've been here 10 months and finally decided to leave. This is my first job out of college and I really wanted it to be a great fit. I've tried my best to make it work, but all of my loved ones are deeply worried about how unhappy I am and I don't blame them. My coworkers and supervisors are always saying shit like “what would we do without you” and “I'm so glad I don't have your job” and I feel like a joke hearing this stuff over and over.

I don't really have a point here, I guess I'm just venting, but there must be jobs out there that won't treat me like this? I don't have much in the way of qualifications but I have great written and verbal communication skills, organization, attention to detail, self-starting attitude, etc… I'm willing to work, just not like this.
