A few moths ago, I applied for a 100% remote healthcare job that was Monday-Friday, benefits, bonuses, etc. I didn’t write a cover letter and just applied, then took a mandatory electronic medical records test. I heard back pretty quickly that I was not a candidate.
A few minutes ago, I saw the job listing again. I applied, and this time used chatGPT to write a cover letter. I sent it in and then took the med record test again.
I quickly got an interview request! I know part of getting noticed on these websites is to use the right buzz words in a cover letter to please the bots that screen candidates. So why not use them to given what they want.
