I lost my job today, I worked at a car dealership in TN, I started as a porter, doing the dirty clean up and support type roles around the dealership. After about a month I was asked to learn the service advisor role, I accepted hoping for increased wage with increased responsibilities and to present myself to the owner as a “can do” kinda guy. And continued to do so. Moving on to service writing and then to what I was doing today, running the parts department. Anyways all this started over some motor oil. A technician needed some oil for a car he was working on but we didn't have any on hand, so I call up the Oreillys and get some on the way. 10 minutes go by and the tech asks if it's arrived yet, I said no not yet but I'll call up Oreillys to see if they've sent their delivery driver out yet. At this time the owner of the company comes out his office and asks what we're doing. I explained that he was checking in on some oil and I'm about to call and verify it's on the way, he tells the tech no don't wait for it get in your car and go get it. I tell him that I had already called in the order and that if we sent him now he'd show up to the store in 5 minutes and there would be nothing for him to pick up, he asks if I can confirm this, I told him I called it in 10 minutes ago it's on the way, he asks again if I can confirm it, at this point I'm already calling dialing the number to confirm, he says it's a yes or no question can you confirm, he's talking down to me and I've exhausted all my patience with explaining the prick that I'm working on it. I'll admit I got irritated and said. I'm fucking calling them right now. Not loud not aggressive but just as I casually cuss as I speak. To which he decides he's gonna take a lunge towards me to get in my ear and say “listen to my FUCKING question” at that point I said fuck this and walked out. This isn't the first time he has gotten in people's faces aggressively cussing, past month we've lost 3 techs who quit because the owner, the man who's supposed to be the leader, wants to behave like a child. Anyways just needed to rant. Fuck that guy.
