I work in a pretty niche sector as a field engineer. Part of my job is traveling 80-90% of the time, and travel costs are originally paid by me and reimbursed. What they neglected to tell me, is that I can only submit expense reports at the end of the month and they take two weeks to process, meaning I am carrying a balance and paying interest on my cards out of my salary and paying out of my pocket for a job that has only lied to me.
