You need health insurance, money for living expenses, and not getting anywhere with applications…so would you go back to a toxic workplace that you resigned from a few years before?

In short, I worked at the same place for almost a decade. On the surface it was great, but truthfully it was the most toxic place. Every time I was supposed to be promoted, I was moved to a new team and had to start over. This pattern led me to be given a surprise PIP – I eventually resigned because of it. After a few years of healing, I'm entering that chaotic era of unemployment, driven by the need for health insurance, and no guarantee they'd even hear me out…I want to reach out to my former supervisor to see if they have openings. I'm very much F-it at this point. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Would you ever return to a toxic job or workplace? If you have, how did it go?
