Are there any office jobs out there that AREN’T 8-5 M-F?

My job is very physically demanding and I’m feeling like I’m getting too old and worn out for it. My plan is to go take some courses at the community college so I can work some kind of desk job. With this standard work schedule at an office, your entire day consists of getting ready for work, driving to work, getting stuck in traffic, working, more traffic, coming home, cooking dinner, watching tv because you’re mentally exhausted and then it’s time for bed, repeat. Oh yeah, and then spend your weekends running errands and doing chores.

I mean fuck. Are these my only options? Hard manual labor that breaks your body down, but have a decent work schedule or a desk job that takes up ALL your free time?
