Two weeks ago, I was hired at Dominos for $9 an hour. I live in Utah. The state minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. I only accepted this job in the meantime before I find a better job.
Today, one my assistant mangers showed me everyone’s wages (we were talking promotions) and I found out that the district manager dropped my wage by a $1 an hour. They lied to me!
When I was hired, I was told I would be paid $9 an hour. I’ve worked here for two weeks, they have me down at $8 an hour! I can’t even pay bills on $8 an hour, let alone $9!
Should I quit now before they exploit me more or confront the district manger? I’m bit nervous but I’m also furious.
