I found this posted by some conservative “foundation”. They're trying to argue against free college by saying that degrees would be worthless if they were free. For decades they've been telling us that you need to go to college to get a good job and have a good life; which isn't always the case, but the argument has some merit because is it true at least some of the time. And in saying that you need to go to college to do stuff or be somebody, they're inherently saying that a college degree is worth something. Now they're trying to say that it is only worth something if you pay a shit-ton of money for it? Like, seriously, what kinda of stupid fuckery is this?
