I moved cross country to get a better start on my career. I started off as a Bench Operator which has allowed numerous opportunities to learn the trade while training while not signing permanently into a job position with good pay and overtime.
However, I have done now about eight interviews without a single hiring yet. I can tell it is annoying to my coworkers as I don't have the responsibility they do. I'm not sure how to approach things at all?
The issue is the company is trying to put a new workforce into roles that require years of experience I don't quite have. I'm starting to get depressed because I moved so far to do this job.
Like why does my work have to do this to me? I could have already had a break in on my work area but nope. I have to stay on the bench.
Does anyone have any solid advice for me? Do I just suck at interviews? The feedback I've gotten back has all been the same.
