Pay cut by 1/3 — Double Standards

I found out 7 days in advanced that the pay for my bartending position will be cut by 1/3 back to pre-pandemic levels. Ignoring the fact that no pay cut is necessary and the company just blatantly, literally doesn’t value the bartenders…my coworkers got a 6 day notice. 6 days later I’m going to be fired for not letting them know 7 days in advanced that I wouldn’t continue the bartending job for so much less money (I do multiple positions). I was told that the schedule is already set. 6 days is enough to tell a whole job class their pay is cut by 1/3 but not fair notice for them that I won’t be doing it at that price? I would have told them 7 days in advance but I was in shock. I can’t have 24 hours to decide if I am will to accept such a…

Long story short, unionize restaurants and don’t work at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria. I’ve been hiding the bars roach infestation from customers for too long anyway.
