So I work as a leasing agent for this company. It’s a new company in the area and for the most part it’s pretty decent, they just took over last year.Management has played a key role in why this complex has had an extreme amount of turn overs in the last 5 years with office staff changing every month and a half. In 2021 alone they have gone through 20 leasing changes, they have come and go and it all points to management at the end somehow nothing is being done about it. I recently just got a write up for “not doing my job properly” even though we’ve been understaffed for a while and it’s a 900 unit complex with only 2 leasing agents currently in office. I’m expected to do everything, from leasing apartments to putting in service requests, to walking and cleaning units, to cleaning the office, to being disrespected by tenants, and being micro managed by managers who want the title but not the responsibilities. Management loves to gossip and talk about employees behind closed doors while the office is being overcrowded by prospects and tenants. I had to literally focus my entire day on doing collections instead of my regular duties and instead of understanding the situation, all I got in return was a write up of the things I didn’t get done. Seriously, I can’t take it anymore coming into work has turned into hell for me, felt like venting.
