Fuck that noise! I want to donate to the poor kid working behind the counter (young woman of color, probably earning minimum wage and suffering through having “Christian pop” music on 24/7 while she works). I don’t want my cash tips going to a tax-deductible donation in YOUR name to a charity of YOUR choice (also no doubt a religious charity that only provides basic needs to human beings on condition of receiving a generous dose of religious brainwashing at the same time).
(To be clear, it’s fine if you’re a small business owner and have religious beliefs, I just resent having them pushed on me while I’m just trying to buy a fucking donut, and I REALLY resent people who claim to be a “Christian” business and yet won’t allow patrons to TIP THE WORKERS.)
