So my boss is known to be hard to work for, but IDGAF, so it usually works out, but not today satan!
Our job is about to be audited this week. Actually, very likely today.
This morning I came in to a printed out letter about how I didn't do enough yesterday, even though I skipped both of my breaks to make sure things were done, and how I have poor time management even though I litterally never stop working.
Mind you, from a boss that leaves early almost every day because “she can't deal with all these re***ds”.
So anyways, there was a ton to do today and if they show up for the audit today and it isn't done, our whole department would fail(mind you I am just an hourly employee, so that will fall on my boss, i will still make my crap hourly wage. It will just hurt the store).
So, after pacing around for 20 minutes pissed off, I walked out and told her boss that they can let me know if they want me to come back tomorrow or not. (Spoiler alert, they do because it takes about 3 months to train someone to even be competent at my position, and they can even hire enough cashies that dont call out constantly).
So, basically, she doesn't think I am competent at my job, I walked out and left my job and hers for her to do all by herself, which she can't and most likely the audit will happen today or tomorrow, and we(well.she) will fail and she will have to answer for it. All the while, they are desperate for employees and I don't actually need the job.
