I will keep this short. I worked for a medical provider, small office. She fired me, out of the blue – seriously, never had a write up or anything. I think she is having financial issues. She contested my unemployment, and is allowed 6-8 weeks to prove her case.
She had the audacity to tell me it ruined her vacation thinking about how she was going to have to fire me. I gave her plenty of my own feedback!
So, with my free time I have been reading some more rules and regulations of what the industry requires. Something that she has done, I assumed was lazy. Well, come to find out, it’s actually illegal. So I reached out to the state board and filed a complaint, and also let a clinic she partners with know. She is threatening to sue me. What kind of lawyer do I need?
