So I've seen more stuff ramping up about the introduction of 4 day work weeks in the US, and I was wondering how it would affect the school week for students.
How has it worked in other countries where a 4 day work week has been implemented? Is it industry specific?
Personally, I'm honestly sure how I feel about it.
On one hand, teachers are generally paid so poorly as it is, they deserve to only have 4 days of work per week, especially if it's widely implemented in other areas. On the other hand, although students would love the extra day off, I don't know if they'd be taught as much if they lost as day of school each week.
This is really contingent on the current education system being maintained on 4 days instead of 5, but I'm curious.
Does anyone else have any info on this? I'm really curious and would love to know what other people are thinking on this.
