So this is pretty minor in comparison to a lot of other posts here but this really pissed me off.
Basically, I was in the door to my work on time, clocked in two minutes late and my manager gave me the whole spiel of being late and that I should be on time. I live pretty close to where I work so my manager told me that I should, realistically, never be late and other people would be grateful to live so close.
And I just simply said “It's two minutes, it's not that big of a deal.” But my manager kept going off about the principle of being on time. At this point, I'm getting pretty pissed off but I decided to keep it to myself. I was already thinking of multiple counterarguments because they said that I should be on time no matter what because I'm scheduled at said time.
In the end, what really pissed me off is that my manager is giving me a reason to dislike working at this place. For the record, I don't have much complaints about where I work. Any complaints I do have is more directed to the idea of grinding my life away for nothing and customer service jobs in general.
