I got a call today for an online interview. The proposed shift of work is 11 hours per day and from Monday to Sunday. No days off. And salary? Minimum wage + “benefits”. It's a customer service job and I was surprised when this MF told me the shift is 11 hours because it's work from home, thus instead of spending nearly 3 hours for commute, it can be spent working. Same response for working the weekend. He said that since I will be working in “the comfort of my own home”, working the weekend shouldn't be that hard. Seriously WTF. The audacity of this MF. Of course I would decline the offer.
