I'm a member of a fairly large local union, and it's that time again: contract negotiations. Wish us luck everybody – voting is in less than a week. For those who want a union job for all the benefits, remember: the fight doesn't end with forming. You have to fight EVERY contract to keep those things you enjoy, because the company sure as heck isn't going to just give it to you. For any interested in what it's like, feel free to ask.
