Okay so this happened a long time ago…
So I worked for this company a long time ago which mostly involed telecommunications. I was hired by an agency but cause I stuck out the monotomous work of calling stores (around 100 a day) I was asked to sign a contract with the place of work.
They said they would offer me a pay rise if I joined from agency to their place of work.
I was on £6.20 h/r which was minimum wage at the time and when I accepted and moved over they gave me…..
An extra 1p
I couldn't believed my luck! Anyway I carried on working as I was just sticking it out until I moved to university in a few months.
They had me working from telecommunications to It to Warehouse work.
Low and behold GTA5 was on the horizon and our work had the display cases that were to go out to the stores around the UK.
I had just gotten my first ever smartphone (iPhone 4s) and took pictures of the display case and posted on my instagram.
My post blew up! I had thousands and thousands of likes after my first few hours.
Silly me didn't turn off location services so the post was tracked back to my work. Like I said first time with a smart phone and on social media.
Within 2 hours the CEO of the company came up to me with a printed out copy of my Instagram and the post I had made.
He took me into his office and asked me to delete the photos, which I did on my Instagram but not on the camera roll.
He then fired me and told me how serious of a breach of data and blah blah blah.
I was like 17 I didn't care or ever sign any contract.
Fast forward a few days later and I was called by the same company and asked to return back to work as they needed staff. At that point I was leaving for uni so I didn't give a flying ****
Tl:DR – Took photos of GTA5 display case before release, got fired and asked to return to work 2 days later
