A very positive experience I wanted to snare

So, today this morning I was about to do a trial shift, 13,5 hours but due to circumstances I had to say I can only stay until 3pm. It was Okey. Other than the kitchen looking like one that Gordon Ramsay would shut down immediately, the place was alright. People were suspicious to begin with, about 3 people on shift kind of close to each other and honest. Well they offered me to make myself breakfast, asked me politely always, very kind. Also I was feeling ill and I spent some time in the toilet. They made jokes but nothing serious or anything to accuse me etc. I've talked with 2 different cook that I'm not feeling well, they made joke about it too like hangover and such but they also offered me Medicine and told me they don't mind if I'm basically work 10 minute's sit 10 minutes. I said I'm not okay with that because small kitchen and because I don't want to slow them down. I decided I go home instead because I wasn't feeling well, and I should come back whem I'm better. Trial shifts are paid here in my country. I wasn't sure to ask but I was Okey with something because even though I became ill I was still working the best I can. I went to the owner and told him about the situation and that I would like to do another trial shift later this week when I'm feeling better. He said ok and asked me what I think how much should he give me. He is kind of an elderly guy but very old fashioned. They gave me about 60 euros even though I didn't really worked that hard for it. I'm having financial difficulties because I'm still on job hunting so I was very happy and I will definitely go back to see the day through.

TL,DR basically worked 3 hours because I got sick , in a trial shift. Got me 60 EUR and met a lot of decent people who were very supportive, definitely positive experience
