Hey all,
I just started a new job and today was my 2nd day along with about 30 other people. In training today, our manager told us to start coming in 15 min early for “huddle time” (basically getting together with our teammates to socialize and discuss info pertaining to the work).
A coworker and i discussed this and are planning to clock in at the time we arrive for “huddle time” but feel like the employer will make a deal out of this.
Does anyone have any similar experiences? How should i deal with a situation like this? Im in California btw if that gives context on the laws here.
