Well, my mom was working at a really unprofessional warehouse where there wasn't any stablished schedules and some days they didn't even work for whatever reason, she didn't even reach minimum wage most months because she didn't do enough hours. This month they didn't work at all and my mom took advantage that our town's holidays where coming to work at the fair. She then faked to have a leg injury to not lose her job because they started working at the warehouse again and if she skipped 3 consecutive days she would be fired and lose a help pay she's getting to at least have enough money to live when complented with this poor earning at her job.
So, she got fired, but not because of that, but because she worked at the fair. Someone discovered it and told it to their boss or the attendant, she still has this help pay because she isn't actually fired because there is no tangible reason so it's just that her campaign ended. But the thing is that it's outright stupid to fire someone for that reason because you had your workers fucking stopped for nearly 20 days and they are going to earn a goddamn misery and I'd like to know if this work conditions are reportable (this is in Spain btw)
