Hey guys, lurker here for a while.
I'm reading about minimum wage discussions and I recall arguments that minimum wage can be used by large corporations, such as Amazon to chew out any new competition before they grow.
Basically, if the law enforced a certain level of minimum wage Corporations could afford it, and their competitors such as medium businesses would bust, making the market less competitive and possibly creating more unemployment. What are your opinions regarding this argument?
PS. I support minimum wage and would like to see legislation making sure minimum wage and wages overall are by law increased according to the inflation rate for that year.
