I am sick as a dog. I work in a specialty field Healthcare as a patient technician, I see and contact about 20 to 30 patients a day. I had covid in January and they made me use my sick time for it or else I would have not gotten paid ( 1.5 weeks worth of hours) last Friday I called out and I am to go back today. I have no voice, a terrible cough, congestion… but not covid, I've tested twice. I'm being told to come in despite being sick and having no voice or I can't be paid, and I won't be able to pay rent. Is there anything at all I can do? I'm absolutely miserable. Thanks in advance.
