I grew up dirt poor. Ate TV dinners, frozen burritos, and took the bus. I studied hard, went to medical school, did my residency, and I’ve been working my butt off for the last 20 years. I am almost 55 and about to retire with $12 million in the bank. My kids are already in college. It wasn’t easy. Spent a ton of time away from family, many 24 hr shifts, many many sacrifices. I’ve missed out on a lot of sleep, a lot of fun, and a lot of family time over the last 29 years. But, now i’m almost 55 and retiring. I don’t know what I’ll do with all my free time, but it ain’t going to be work. I am so burnt out and anti-work right now. Wish me luck!
