Long story short, I'm underpaid for what I do and have been forced to do other department's work with no raise or anything. This is a boring paperwork job and I made it clear I want to get back into IT (I was in IT for 5 years before this job) by applying to an IT job here and getting caught a couple times job searching. The signs I'm seeing is my boss is giving me less work, and there's this colleague from another department getting trained in front of me to do my job. I figured i will either quit when I find a better job, or I'll get fired. Hence the mini dance party in my head lol.
Okay I mostly wanted to vent. Anyone else in a similar situation?
