How do you find parent friendly jobs?

I just put my two weeks in at my work where i maybe make $1500/ Mo. I have been habitually late there and realized that it's not me, it's them and their long hours, shit pay, no benefits, and the constant feeling of shame and disappointment whenever I was running late. I don't exactly have a game plan together except door dash or pick up 9 to 3 shifts at a fast food joint so I can drop off and pick my kid up from school until I find something better. Questions: what should I be looking for in a job? how do I negotiate a few extra dollars at a fast food joint? Starting is around 14/hr but I wanna try to get up to $16 in the interview. My entire life has been in the food industry and I've been in management (team lead, assistant manager, general manager).…

Questions:

  • what should I be looking for in a job?
  • how do I negotiate a few extra dollars at a fast food joint? Starting is around 14/hr but I wanna try to get up to $16 in the interview. My entire life has been in the food industry and I've been in management (team lead, assistant manager, general manager). I don't want to be a manager there but I work hard, have great customer service and definitely won't be late to thos job.
  • are there any good work from home jobs?
