I’m oddly unable to access my pay stubs suddenly and my checks are getting smaller and smaller. My hours got cut last week so I expected a smaller check but the amount makes no sense. The week prior before my hour cut I worked normal hours minus Easter but I’m supposed to get paid holidays – it was around the same as this past week when I was cut down in hours, but Easter week I worked insanely hard without keeping overtime. This week I have a little more in hours than I did last, but I’m scared of what my check will be like again. No one has told me anything about cutting my pay, too so I’m quite confused. I got a chemical rash at work that took my entire paycheck to take care of and couldn’t make my bills very easily. If my pay is cut shouldn’t they TELL me by law that I’m working for less ? Or are they allowed to cut both my hours and pay without saying anything? Company rules said under 40 hrs for X consecutive weeks makes you lose full time status also and I was hired full time and promised hours. I worked full time up until these last 2 weeks where last week I got around 29 hours (ended up with 30ish though because of a call in and I got more hours having to stay late) and this week I got scheduled 32.
