At either the end of every month or the beginning of they next my boss will buy small treats and acknowledge the birthdays for that month. My birthday was in april. On Wednesday I overheard one of the boss's kids being upset that we weren't doing birthdays on that day, as was planned. Instead he waited until a yesterday, one of the days I don't work, to do it and didn't mention me. It's just so petty but pisses me off so much.
