I recently left my job of a few years and took about six months off of work. When I started looking around for work again I did not want to be in a supervisor position again. At least for a little while. I was always told that having that kind of experience on your résumé is good. However, I’m finding that employers do not like seeing this on a résumé if you’re going to be working below them. I swear they think that you won’t be as moldable or submissive and passive of a worker if you’ve been the boss before. Tbh that assumption would be right, but why do we need people to be robots? It’s bull. I’m having a harder time finding work now that I have this on my resume.
Not looking for advice. Just wanted to share my thoughts around that.
