Long time lurker and pissed off pregnant woman/ therapist.
I'm due in a month, plan on taking 10 unpaid weeks of leave, (because America!) my clinic wants me to check in with my clients every 2 weeks to see how they are doing. Ok fine I can under that but the best part is they had no intention of paying me for my time spent checking in while on leave. When I asked how will I be compensated for my time emailing/ calling/ texting while I'm away and their response was CRICKETS!
I'm pissed off how my time is not considered viable and this shit country makes it impossible for parents and workers. America really is just four corporations under an trench coat.
