I’ve been working this job in retail for almost 6 months now. Before this I worked some construction gigs via a family member, and I had worked detasseling. Not counting all the times I came in for a few extra hours here and there to help out and cover gaps. They did this because their system tracks hours by an average of hours over 5 weeks. So they can work you over hours 4 weeks, then make up for it by giving you really weak hours another week. I have been considering finding a new job for a while, but this is just the cherry on top now. How do you suggest I handle a boss treating me like this?
