Yes, I get the head office is 2 hours ahead of some of the other offices, but does the 10 minute announcement meeting scheduled less than 24 hours in advance NEED to be at 8:00 a.m. head office time, which is 6:00 a.m. my time? Do I NEED to wake up an hour early to listen to what could likely be announced in an email and likely doesn't affect me at all?
Now, I am a long term salaried industry employee. I'm not a complete idiot and I am fine with occasionally going above and beyond. Stay late? Sure. Wake up a little early for an important meeting with India? Ok. But there is precisely ZERO reason they MUST hold trainings, announcements, and such at the star of their business day. 1-2 hours later would make a world of difference.
I've given them this feedback before, and have stopped because clearly no fucks are given and continually complaining would result in a negative career impact.
