Overview

As George Carlin famously said, “It's called 'the American Dream' 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it.” America is a shattered mirror, it cannot even look at itself in the mirror anymore. It's a democracy which cannot be fixed. It’s no longer in its golden age, it’s no longer unified, and it’s no longer on the path to prosperity. America is controlled by the wealthy top 10% – Princeton study. The voices of the average American are left unheard. The wealthy corporate executives hire lobbyists to see the changes they want to see pushed through congress. Corporate America is the fourth unofficial branch of the federal government. The impact of the 90% of Americans voting is futile and the media continues to add gasoline to the fire burning between the Democrats and Republicans. We’re still debating rights: climate change, LGBTQ+ rights, minimum wage, abortion rights, women rights, gun rights, free speech, etc. The left is pro human while the right is anti human. We have seen this with the nearly 200 reps that voted against baby formula access to low income families. Matt Gaetz’s reasoning being that it will overcrowd hard-working families. The massive transfer of wealth into the hands of 1 percent of Americans has been going on for 40 years. The ultra wealthy won the battle of control over all of us, the American people have a problem, the rich continue to reach record profits each year while the poor continue on their descent. We need a champion of the people for president, unfortunately Democrats and Republicans are too busy doing the bidding of their donors and the media would rather divide us then see us come together and make real changes.

Florida’s Governor

Ron Desantis’ Tweet is disgusting, Florida has such high reserves at the expense of lives (COVID) and the well being of workers. Another Tweet of Desantis shows he doesn't care about the lives of his citizens. We must purge the GOP. They’re a party who brainwash a significant portion of Americans which has caused our country to go into decline. Desantis had violated the first amendment, he, the congress has made it forbidden to assemble outside a residency even if it’s peaceful. He is part of the so-called “Party of Free Speech.” This is suppression of the people. Desantis is against the vaccine and does not mandate it; he is letting his people die under him. The people have been demanding $15 wages for years and now it should be over $20 for the goal because so much time has passed to inflation.

Donald J. Trump’s presidency

He wasn’t impactful, he failed to manage the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, he didn’t have any great achievements, but he compares himself to past presidents. He claims no one has done as good a job as he has.. Trump is the first president in 29 years to not serve a second term, he is the first president in 90 years to lose the presidency, House and Senate in one term, first president in 130 years to lose the popular vote twice, first president in 154 years to boycott his successor’s inauguration, first president ever to be impeached twice, first president to incite a domestic terrorist attack, first president to have two ex-wives, first president ever to not concede defeat, and first president to have 26 sexual assault allegations. In the 2020 election, Trump was a sore loser, Trump demanded Georgia's secretary of state to find him 11,000 votes. because he was losing. He tried every trick in the book to overturn the election, he called for a recount, he blamed voter fraud, and he even incited (indirect cause) the January 6 insurrection. He still claims the election was rigged without evidence to back that up. Trump said he would “Make America Great Again”, however, we’re suffering through hard times. He spent much of his presidency playing golf in West Palm Beach, Florida instead of helping the American people during COVID. Trump has collected over $200 million in donations from his supporters to investigate election fraud, why would he need that much money when he already brags about his wealth?

War on class

Workers are being exploited. The bottom and now even the middle classes are struggling to survive with rising inflation and costs of living while the ultra rich are benefiting off of our losses and are making record profits. The inflation rate is rising heavily, inflation right now is roughly 8%. Employers are underpaying many workers and they do not give them the yearly raise they need to match inflation or rising costs of living. Working class Americans are living through modern serfdom, their benefits and health insurance are tied to their employer. Their employers decide how they want them to live. In the history of America, jobs, even low-skilled jobs were enough to live on. If business owners don’t even pay their employees a living wage, they don’t deserve their respect. CEO’s are getting millions of dollars in raises yet the workers are only receiving about a 3-4% raise. This is exploitation. The government needs to step in to see our rights maintained. 81% of workers are burnt out. We need a 4 day-32 hour work week. The 40 hour week was implemented during WWII by Henry Ford, America has become more technologically advanced yet we’re still working just as hard. America’s working class will continue to suffer under the administration of a republican as president. The US budget is wasted and we need to cut spending on the military to help out unfortunate citizens. The workers are gaining more power through unionization, we need to unionize everywhere to keep workers from being exploited and gain the power we relinquished to the 1%. It is our duty to go down the path of taking back our rights. Reagan's policies have dismantled the unions after he busted unionizing air traffic controllers. This marked the beginning of the end of America’s fair working class. This is the tipping point and where America began its slow decline. We have seen how Starbucks and Amazon are illegally busting unions and firing union leaders. This is against the law and nothing will be done. They’re spending millions of dollars to try to bust these unions. They don’t care about the lives of their workers, only the profit numbers. That is all they care about. The upper class has low empathy for those lower on the pyramid. We will still keep capitalism but unions will protect workers rights and pay, let’s work with the system we have. As long as we properly regulate capitalism and it doesn’t go unchecked, we can still prosper while there’s still time. Currently, inflation is destroying the savings of Americans, Americans now have an average of $9,000 less in savings than they did last year.

Wages

“It seems to me to be equally plain that no business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country … and by living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level-I mean the wages of decent living.” – FDR. Most Americans used to be paid a living wage that can support a family, instead it’s now “how can I support myself.” Minimum wage workers can’t afford a two-bedroom rental anywhere in the country, new report says. Raising the minimum wage means minimum wage workers have more money to spend which means more money ripples throughout the economy as minimum wage employees are able to spend more. Businesses will earn more money resulting in a need for more workers to keep up with sales, this creates job growth and a lower unemployment rate. There are about 6 million Americans that are unemployed. There would be less of a burden on social programs for low income families. Wages need to be increased to match inflation. If employers pay you direct minimum wage, they won’t hesitate to pay you less if minimum wage decreases. The tipping system should also be abolished, it favors white attractive females, minorities such as Blacks can face prejudice giving them an unfair share of the tips. It proves to be an unstable income because you can’t predict what your tips will be for the following year. Teachers, nurses, emergency responders, sanitation workers, farm workers, social workers, food service workers, and other occupations that are needed for society deserve to have a fair stable wage. Wages are lower now than they were in the 60’s and 70’s adjusted to inflation. One person would’ve been able to provide for their whole family in the twentieth century, USA. The minimum wage should be livable.

President

There’s no longer a quality candidate for president, there’s only rich old men with cognitive disabilities. A president should be no older than 60, even the FBI doesn’t allow anyone over 57 because anyone at that age has impaired cognitive abilities, so why do we have old men running this country if they’re seen as cognitively incompetent.

Generation war

Gen Z and millennials have not lived through the economic golden age: low inflation, cheap housing market, adequate pensions, adequate wages, etc. like the boomer generation has; now the boomers want us, the younger generations, to pull themselves up by the bootstraps. They don’t care about us because they’re on the verge of extinction. We’re living through a decline, we’re no longer going to be the best country. Boomers are overly individualistic which creates ongoing problems like climate change. They don’t care for the environment because they won’t have to deal with it since they’ll die soon.

Baby Formula

A father says he put 1,000 miles on his car to find specialty formula for premature infant daughter. America is in such a decline that we also need to have other countries import us baby formula so we can feed the future generation. 629,898 abortions were performed in 2019 according to the CDC. This baby formula crisis would be even more stressful on American families, especially low income ones. Furthermore, the Republicans are against abortion, this would mean a much higher population growth, however, the Republicans don’t support baby formula access to low income families.

Healthcare

31 million Americans have no health insurance, this is extremely inadequate; healthcare should be managed by the government and be accessible to every tax-paying citizen, the government’s duty is to maintain the welfare of the people. Universal healthcare works in countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, etc. People without health insurance will die if they can’t afford the costly bills for healthcare, medical debt is the number one reason for bankruptcy. America’s healthcare system isn’t even the best, yet we’re supposed to be the best country. The world has caught up to America, we will no longer hold number one. If we use the money we give to employers for health insurance to universal healthcare, it would improve the lives of all working class Americans. A New Congressional Budget Office Study Shows That Medicare for All Would Save Hundreds of Billions of Dollars Annually, however, this is not in the interests of corrupt health insurance companies. They want to drive their profits up at the cost of our very lives.
