Was at a sales job for 3 months which wouldn't stop talking about how “were a family” and talking about all our futures there in 5-10 years and so on. I would hit my monthly sales targets as well and never acted unhappy at work. We had a meeting a couple weeks before this and they asked to rate my happiness at this job on a scale of 1 to 10. I said 7.5 and they didn't seem pleased with my answer. 2 weeks later once my 3 months was coming to an end they said my performance had “gone down” and that they needed to extend my probation by a week and in that week needing to really prove how much I wanted to work there with an almost unrealistic goal. They said it didn't matter that I was hitting my sales targets but I didn't seem like someone who wanted to be with them for 3 plus years only giving them a 7.5/10. Got the most new accounts that day and highest sale of the day. Cleared my desk after that meeting.. Screw your “family”.
