Has anyone noticed..

Theres been a MASSIVE increase in deceptive and straight up dishonest job postings? My employer is trying to hire a receptionist, Tuesday through Saturday. They can't get a soul (they're only paying 13-16) and have now listed the job as Mon-Fri, and have said outright that they'll just tell them it's Tuesday through Saturday when they accept the job and/or interview. They've already done it multiple times, such as when they hired my office manager in March Then they interviewed someone for the office manager position three weeks later. Once she accepted, they told her that they actually filled the position and put her somewhere else entirely (Service instead of office) with a different schedule. That's not even counting the fact that this company has had more acquisitions in 3 months than Walmart has in total, but that's a whole different issue. It's not just these assholes either. My best…

That's not even counting the fact that this company has had more acquisitions in 3 months than Walmart has in total, but that's a whole different issue.

It's not just these assholes either.

My best friend's work is hiring delivery drivers (Not Amazon, cuz gag) and they have it listed online that they're paying $16-$19 (Note that it says that is what they are paying, it's not “up to $16-19”, just straight 16-19)
I applied a couple of times (because by the time they got back to me, I already had a job)
The MAXIMUM that they are paying is $14. The average is $13.

It's infuriating at this point and it's just a waste of everyone's time. Companies are so obsessed with you wasting “company time” but will actively waste applicant's time on the <1% chance it works out. Not only have they now ruined a prospective employee, but they've also gone and PROVEN that they are dishonest and have 0 issue with lying and pulling the rug out. That they're not worth trusting with your time.

All these businesses and companies whining that they can't hire, yet they'd rather lie and offend and/or piss applicants off and ruin their chances of getting more applicants. Cuz y'all know we (or at least me) are out here calling them the fuck out for it.
