In my opinion (which I'm open to being told I'm misinformed) the government making it law that you have to get a wage increase to match inflation would make such a huge difference and bassically solve the cost of living crisis. Rather than greedy companies paying their employees the same and charging more we would all increase money equally and actually be able to afford to be alive and have luxuries like food and heat.
