7 months ago our company relocated 12 employees to “city A”
We were informed today our office would be closing and we need to report to “city B” 7/1.
From city A to City B it is around 13 miles. Usually taking 15 minutes to get onsite.
Since we have normal office hours we will be needing to travel during peak traffic times.
Increasing the time drive slightly on my way to city B
My concern is traveling from City B back to city A EOD.
Where a 15 minute drive turns to 45 min to 1 hr of driving.
Anyone experienced in speaking to HR have a tips to negotiate adequate compensation for this bait and switch?
Any help would be appreciated
Ps: remote work is not an option that is on the table for us
