They Took my Chair

I work security at a major site. My post is psuedo-outdoors. I'm inside the walls, but sitting within two giant garage doors that are basically always opened. Today I walk into work, and walk by my post on the way to my locker. As I'm walking by, the previous shift let's me know that they took my chair, because the higher ups don't want “outdoor” posts sitting down anymore. Without missing a beat I simply tell my co-workers, “alright cool, I'm looking for a new job today.” I've worked here nearly 3 years. In that time I've been given more and more responsibilities, and had less and less comforts, with 0 pay increase. I honestly didn't mind that much, because it's actually a pretty easy and well paying job, but expecting me to stand all day, without a pay increase, is the last straw. I found multiple, better paying jobs…

I've worked here nearly 3 years. In that time I've been given more and more responsibilities, and had less and less comforts, with 0 pay increase. I honestly didn't mind that much, because it's actually a pretty easy and well paying job, but expecting me to stand all day, without a pay increase, is the last straw. I found multiple, better paying jobs less than an hour into my shift, that I now have the work experience to apply for. I'm spending this weekend applying to them all.
