So the company I have been working for the past 7 years did some restructuring due to a drop in revenue due to C19 & inflation. The other branch in my town was closed in April & 17 people in the branch where I work were let go in May. In all the time I have worked here; Monday – Friday we close at 17:00, 12:00 on a Saturday & did not open at all on a Sunday. This morning we got a mail that in order to better serve our customers as we are the only branch in town our new opening times will be: Monday – Saturday, 8:00-18:00 & Sundays 8:00 – 12:00 effective from 1/07/2022. No talk of pay increase or any compensation for 12 hours of additional work?
