A company is paying up to get people back to the office…finally

This from my friend at an Easter gathering yesterday. Their company has been struggling getting people to commit to coming back into the office. They tried once to go hybrid since being remote during Covid for a year and people quit in every dept so they backed off and stayed remote and came up with another plan. The executive team has learned if you want those results you’re going to have to pay. They moved offices to a cheaper lease and are passing that savings to their employees. Starting April 1 they went back into the office but the company is reimbursing $100 / week for gas and reimbursing up to $25 a day up to 3 lunch meals a week. What’s everyone think? Seems fair to me.
