A friend of mine had her work hold her for 10 hours, without allowing any breaks – even to the toilet (SWEDEN)

The friend in question work at a industrial retail store, they had a shift from 8 am, to 18 pm. They are usually working as the cashier, which was the post the entire day. This was a well known day where there'd be alot of people in the store, this was a discount day; and accordning to the worker the toll after the workday was 6 times the ordinary amount. Meaning alot of people basically. The store has had some worker falloffs, 2 people the last month; which hasn't been replaced yet. So anyways, they were at the cashier position; only one cashier the entire day. There were several lines in the store, but only one was open. Noone came to replace her during the day, and since there wes so much people she couldn't leave for a short toilet break; and since there wasn't any time in between there was no ability to eat. My friend was basically stuck there during the whole 10 hours due to people always coming, and not being replaced by someone for breaks. They left a bit after 18 due to the store closing. They usually have shifts so the cashier can be replaced for going on breaks, but today there were noone else to be replaced by.

Is this even legal? As said this was in Sweden
