A little hope: People are angrier than you’d think

Earlier this week, I was selling my plasma for money. I will take any excuse to talk about how evil the system is. Complain to me just once about your job and I will stoke the fire. That being said, the lady who screened me told me that her job does not allow the employees to drink water during their shifts and it's considered a “hazard”. I will take any excuse to talk about how evil the system is. Complain to me just once about your job and I will stoke the fire. That being said, the lady who screened me told me that her job does not allow the employees to drink water during their shifts and it's considered a “hazard”. A number of employees have passed out and/or vomited because they were so thirsty. There is supposed to be free water in the fridge in the break room, but it has not been restocked by the company and nobody can remember the last time it was stocked. We ended up having the most incredible conversation about the company she works for, corporations in general, the rich, and change. It made me realize that although people aren't saying it, they are very angry. They want things to change. They just don't know that they are right for feeling that way.

Listen and validate people's frustrations and anger about work and the system. Do what you can to get them to not blame themselves. The owning class has gaslit everyone into thinking their anger and frustration aren't justified and that they should be grateful. “Work or be deprived of necessities until you die” is evil and in some capacity, everyone can see that. Once shit hits the fan, there will be more support than you'd think.
