A painful reminder that my job doesn’t care about me

Last week, I was notified that I will be getting laid off at the end of June due to budget reasons. Not a single person I work with has spoken to me since then. No “this sucks” or “I'm sorry this is happening” or “is there anything I can do to help?” My boss hasn't even said a single word to me in a week beyond regular work-related emails. I've been in this job for three years, and I let myself get really passionate about it. I invested so much of myself in my work. I thought I mattered. But I don't. Not to the organization, and not to my coworkers.
